Nifty Update Log September 2024

Features

  1. Labs:

Introducing our latest building where you seed atoms and after a while they grow into full ethers which can be used to craft certain items.

  1. Road to Sovereign:

Gather resources, defeat monsters, other fagged players and hold control points while flagged up to earn seals.

  1. New Charm added:
    Collected Arzol seals can now be used as ingredients to craft the new Mountain Charm

  1. More About Tribes:
  • Ranks:

Introducing ranking within tribes, go up in ranks by gaining tribe points.

  • Tribe Points:

A - When joining a tribe players can earn tribe points (previously called flag points) by battling monsters, gathering, killing field bosses and collecting field bosses interval rewards…

B - Upon earning tribe points the rank of the player will increase based on the following milestones and will earn a title.

The title of the player will be shown in the inspect screen.

  • Tribes leaderboard:

A- Leaderboard of all players, filtered by tribe

B- Leaderboard of the 3 tribes as a whole

  • Tribe Join Rules update:

Seals earned while flagged up are the seals of your own tribe. Controlling outposts give you that specific kind of seal. Collecting seals ranks you up on the tribe ladder. Switching tribe has a cd time of 7 days and a penalty of 30% to your rank points

Missions

There were a few issues with some missions, here’s what we fixed in this update:

  • “Collect Loot” mission issue
    Collecting a completed mission reward now does not complete another mission

  • “Refine Fabric” mission reset
    The reset was happening after refining 16 fabrics

  • “Craft T3 weapon” mission fix
    Some instances were happening when the mission for crafting a t3 weapon was completed before crafting a t3 weapon

Screen Resolution

Cleaned up around the Screen Res corner:

  • Mouse cursor and Screen Resolution
    The cursor will not be affected by screen resolution anymore

  • Game does & Battle background fitting higher Screen Resolution
    Game screen and battle backgrounds will fit resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080

UI

And a quick lighting round for UI fixes:

  • Update UI of “Flagging Up”
  • Add female avatars icons
  • Show the whole Options gear button instead of only half
  • Abilities now sorted in Collection by level
  • Show the last item in the Craft/Refine recipes list in full and enable interacting with it.
  • All interfaces will close now with ESC
  • Email bind button made easier to press

Bugs

Finally, the list and details of all the bugs we’ve smashed:

  • Destroyed items collecting animation

Defeating another player in a Red or Black zone makes some his loot available for picking up, the rest of it is destroyed and cannot be picked up, we just fixed an issue where there was an animation for picking up destroyed loot but not actually picked up

  • Gather and Craft timer fix

Now, the fill-up bar will start immediately after the player starts gathering or crafting.

  • Cancelling gathering action resulted in other issues

In some instances when players where gathering, then cancelling the gathering, they activated a bug where they cannot interact with resources or any portal in the zone. This should not happen in this new version

  • Players cannot see their own messages in World Chat
    All players should see their and everyone’s messages in the world chat

  • Issue while crafting Sigil
    Some players faced issues when attempting to craft Sigils, this should be resolved now

  • Collecting loot error
    Finally the 81002 alert has been identified and solved!

  • Keyboard mapping issues
    Logic was fixed for keyboard controls when some issues appeared while remapping buttons.

  • The Houdini bug
    We had a lot of fun resolving this bug. where a character disappears when waiting for the travel home timer to end and chatting

  • Monsters outside range are joining battle
    No monsters are invited to join battles outside the green circle

  • The supporting player didn’t spawn after PPVE battle
    In some instances, when a player was joining another in a battle against mobs, after winning the battle, only the player who started the battle was respawning on the world map.

Polish:

  • Gathering animation fix:
    Gathering resources now will show the correct animation with the appropriate gathering tool
  • SFX polish:
    The walking SFX will not be duplicating anymore, giving you a better sound experience
  • Have to refresh every time I need to check “sell items” list in the market:
    Lists in market will show a message notifying of the unavailability of a certain item if it’s not available anymore
  • New Buildings!
    Immerse your eyes in these new beauties… And let us know what you think of the new buildings’ art.
  • Decrease loading time between scenes (e.g. from Zone to Battle)
  • Sort friends list by online status first.
