Weekly Dev Update #17: Quick Fixes & New Thrills

While our team is currently busy with leveling up TWoNC’s UI, they’ve been going at bugs like mad exterminators in the past couple of months with exeptional results, we went down from 120 to 40 reported bugs :fire:
Some of them you might have seen resolved during the January playtest, some of them were resolved afterwards.

Fixes:

  • Crafting progress freezes and follows the character if a recipe is clicked immediately after crafting.
  • Random lag spikes when gathering cotton.
  • PVP loot not dropping.
  • Corpses not showing after PVP.
  • Newly created guilds not appearing in search results.
  • Hotkeys remain active while using the Bug Reporting UI.
  • Typo: ““Mighties Warriors”” > ““Mightiest Warriors””
  • Some hitboxes are smaller than their actual images.
  • Some missions are completed with the wrong action.
  • Game freezes when two non-slottable runes are fused.
  • ““Journey Home”” not working in the first zone (logic issue).
  • Rune slot incorrectly displayed in resource description UI.
  • Incorrect coin distribution in NPC loot.
  • Inability to select Doggy Dog, the first NPC encountered in the game.
  • Some equipment cannot be crafted despite having the requisite mastery level.
  • Necessity to log out and then back in to see UI changes after joining a guild.

New stuff:

  • Added a more pronounced danger feeling when health is below 20% (screen borders reddening, danger music).
  • Refined Battle Tutorial to improve combat learning experience.
  • Various improvements in the UI and Town for a better user interface and engagement.
